1st Touchdown Football Camps

June 17-21, 2024 from 8:00 - Noon

1st Touchdown Football Camp is a camp for children going into (K thru 8th grade) and is dedicated to help shape and mold our youth in a positive way to learn life skills and life lessons while enjoying the fun and beauty of sports. We do this with our three fold development of our campers.

Character development:

We will have a character word of the day that will be represented, revisited and focused on in everything we do. Also, we will have a guest speaker come in and speak on that word or topic.

Athletic development:

We do drills to help all levels to the elite (beginners, intermediate and advanced) to get bigger, stronger, faster and fine tune their motor skills.

Skill development and competition:

Without a healthy spirit of competition you never know the heights a person is truly able to reach. We foster this healthy level of competition with scheduled times where we use the skills and motor skills developed to accomplish a goal and win a competition. We have a full time athletic trainer on site at all times. At 1st Touchdown we love our campers and are dedicated to bring them the very best experience possible!

I'm Coach Maupin

My wife Sallie and I have three beautiful children. Son Junior, daughter Taelor, and son Tre. I was an All State football Player at Robinson High school and went on to play Linebacker at Harding University.

I have taught Elementary PE for 10 years at various Elementary schools (Chenal, Robinson, Pine Forest, Indian Hills, Meadow Parks) and I am currently the Head Football Coach at Maumelle High school. With that, I handle all strength/conditioning, recruiting and have traveled over 28,000 miles across the country taking players to potential Universities to help them find a place they can further their education and be successful. I love kids and strive to give everything I have back to them and this community.

I have trained and mentored student athletes like University of Arkansas RB/WR TJ Hammonds, WR Koilan Jackson, DE/LB David Porter, Zach Williams. Naval Academy RB Myles Fells, Army Davis Wofford UCA C Sanders Hines, and A-State DB Nathan Page.
